COMMENTS: I don't normally include digital downloads in the archive as this website is all about physical releases, but I have made an exception for the three volumes of the 'Rock The Discotek' series because of their historical importance. They are brilliantly created mixes that combine excerpts of interviews with the original D.J.'s and M.C.'s who performed at various parties in New York during the early days of hip hop between 1978-1985, along with authentic live recordings from those parties. They have been remixed and restored by Jorun Bombay and made into a continuous mix.
