WHAT JASON DAVIES HAD TO SAY ABOUT THIS RELEASE:
This was a real tricky one and basically not a pleasurable experience. I was asked by my management to pop down to a recording studio near The Elephant & Castle one evening, as they said that the artist wanted to add a little extra club presence to the mix. They told me it was Biddu Orchestra and I was aware of the Humanity club mix that had recently been out, so was quite looking forward to it. When I got to the studio, basically the track was really lame (as it still is) and I could see that whomever had done the Humanity mix had obviously done a great job. So for this one, I had to tread that fine line whilst Biddu was there to try and beef up the beats, add a few Todd Terry samples, and extend the track out a bit. Whilst I think I managed to polish this turd as best I could, what was I gutted about was that Biddu had refused to give me any acknowledgement on the track and basically denied that anyone else had done anything. Unfortunately the guy is an egotistical dick living off the one success he had in the 1970's. People like this make me sick!
